| Wow. This
game was an eye opening experience.
We all competed in an
auction for things that everyone wanted:
- Good education
- Peace
- No Poverty
- Good healthcare
- Happiness
- Clean environment
- Equality
- Money
In the end, most teams
were nearly out of money and still, nobody had exactly
what they wanted. We soon realized that competing for
these things hadn't benefited anyone. We had to find a
better way to play so that everyone could have these
critical things.
We learned several key
points:
- The World is Abundant
- Never compromise your
values.
- Look for ways to work
together instead of competing.
- Support other people
in going for what they want.
- Play WIN/WIN instead
of WIN/LOSE.
- Money is a
resource...never a goal.
Imagine a world where
people played this way. We could make large changes and
help many people to have better lives. |
