Every one of the core SEL competencies is touched by "responsibility". One of our greatest ambitions as educators must be to promote the development of "connected thinking". This will result in the understanding of our thoughts, how they create our actions and how those actions create outcomes.

Responsibility is when we consciously take ownership for our thoughts, actions and outcomes.

Ask yourself: In which of the domains on the wheel do I need to demonstrate a greater level of responsibility?
